Bliss Pops Delivery ("we," "our," or "us") is a delivery management application used by authorized Bliss Pops personnel and to send delivery notifications to customers. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information from employees and customers.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, user role (driver or manager)
Location Data: Real-time GPS location during active deliveries only
Delivery Information: Order assignments, delivery schedules, status updates
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, app version
Customer Phone Numbers: Phone numbers provided by customers when placing catering orders, used solely to send delivery status notifications and live tracking links related to their order

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Coordinate delivery assignments between managers and drivers
Provide real-time location tracking during active deliveries
Enable GPS navigation to delivery locations
Ensure secure access through role-based authentication
Send push notifications about delivery updates
Send SMS delivery notifications and live tracking links to customers who have placed catering orders

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information is shared only with:

Authorized Bliss Pops personnel: Managers can view driver locations during active deliveries for coordination purposes
Service Providers: AWS (data storage and hosting), Google Maps (navigation), Twilio (SMS notifications)
Customer SMS: We send delivery notifications to customers using their phone number provided at time of order. We do not share customer phone numbers with third parties
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

All data transmitted is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols
Data stored in AWS with encryption at rest
Secure authentication through AWS Cognito
Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only
Location data automatically deleted after 24 hours

6. Location Permissions

Our app requests location permissions for the following purposes:

When In Use: To show your current location on the map
Background Location: To track your delivery route during active deliveries

Location tracking only occurs during active deliveries after you tap "Start Delivery". We do not track your location when you are not actively making deliveries.

7. Push Notifications

We send push notifications for:

New delivery assignments
Delivery status updates
Important system announcements

You can disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.

8. SMS Notifications

Customers who have placed catering orders with Bliss Pops may receive SMS messages related to their delivery, including:

Departure notifications when a driver is on the way
Approaching notifications (15 minutes and 5 minutes away)
Arrival notifications
Live GPS tracking links

SMS messages are sent only to customers who have provided their phone number as part of placing a catering order. To opt out of SMS notifications, reply STOP to any message or contact us at onuongacaleb@gmail.com.

9. Data Retention

Location Data: Automatically deleted after 24 hours
Delivery Records: Retained for business and accounting purposes
Account Information: Retained while you are an active employee
Deleted Account Data: Removed within 30 days of account deletion request

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal information
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your data
Export your data in a portable format
Disable location services (though this will prevent delivery tracking functionality)
Opt out of push notifications
Opt out of SMS notifications by replying STOP

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
